The
Keenan story goes back to the 1960s, with the start of the development
of the Keenan mixer wagon by farmer, engineer and innovator, Richard
Keenan, a “reliable machine capable of handling the toughest feeding
ingredients.”
Since
then, Keenan has gone on to become one of the world’s foremost livestock-feeding
experts.
The
award-winning company founded in 1979, which has its headquarters
in Co. Carlow, Ireland, initially only produced mixer wagons, but
has since developed a comprehensive nutrition support programme,
meeting the increasingly demanding needs of dairy and beef farmers
worldwide.
By
integrating the Keenan Klassik Mixer Wagon with the advanced Macro-Nutrition
programme, farmers have available to them a System that increases
both animal health and profitability, reduces labour and creates
long-term farm profits.
Today,
Keenan has wholly-owned subsidiaries in Australia, Denmark, France,
Germany, Sweden, UK, USA and distributors in Belgium, Czech Republic,
Hungary, Poland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Slovakia and South Africa.
The company’s success story is founded as much on its reputation
for service and customer satisfaction, as on the mixing performance,
long life and reliability of the Keenan Mixer Wagon itself.
Keenan have been operating to ISO 9002 International Quality Standards
since 1993, and is committed to the implementation of quality business
principles in all of its activities.
