Sequence Valve Introduction This has been used with the current slurry door since early 1997 to reduce the number of hydraulic control pipes & to perevent the pushing & slurry door colliding. The sequence – when the hydaulics are engaged to begin spreading, the side door will open & the slurry door will lift. When the slurry door has reached its full stroke the hydraulic pressure builds up in the line & opens one of the two valves in the sequence valve block allowing oil to flow to the pushing rams & therefore moving the pushing door forward. When the machine has been emptied & the tractor hydraulics reversed, the ushing door will return to its original position at the back of the machine. The pressure again builds up in this cicuit & opens the second valve in the sequence block, allowing the oil to flow to the return side of the slurry door & side door rams. These will then close. To adjust the Sequence Valve
Use incremants of no more than 1/4 of adjustment screw until correct setting is found. All the above adjustments should be carried out while the machine is empty. If the adjustment fails to solve the particular problem then check the following:-
Transportation For transportation the pushing door may require to be brought forward which will give better height clearance as the pushing door arm is now in the down position. To achieve this the following procedure is advised
Remember to ask the customer to return the pushing door back to fully returned position after transportation |
